ErP - Tightened Efficiency Requirements

Within the framework of the European ErP-Directive 2009/125/EG (Energy-related-Products-Directive), also called Ecodesign-Directive, the new requirements concerning energy efficiency of AHUs shall apply as of January 1st 2016 within the European Economic Area (EEA). Relevant for the AHUs is the EC-Regulation 1253/2014/EG that came into force on November 26th 2014. Within the framework of this directive and as of January 1st 2016, new requirements concerning the energy efficiency of AHUs have applied within the European Economic Area (EEA).

The Eco-Design Directive ErP for refrigerator systems and heat pumps

The new EU-regulation 2281/2016/EU deals with many different products (refrigerator systems, heat pumps, etc.) and has been in effect within the European economic region since 01.01.2018. The regulation defines the new requirements for refrigerator systems and heat pumps and focuses on the new ratios for the efficiency rating.
