TrueBlue – EnEV 2009
With the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), the European Parliament and the European Council specified stringent climate protection goals. In Germany, the tightened requirements regarding the energetic quality of existing and new residential and non-residential buildings are decisively implemented by the Energy Savings Ordinance (EnEV). Compared to the EnEV 2007, the EnEV 2009 tightens the requirements to be met by buildings by 30 %.
Air conditioning systems (nominal chilling power > 12 kW) and air handling systems (supply-air volume flow ≥ 4,000 m³/h) for new and renovated buildings shall meet the following requirements:
• specific fan power no less than SFP 4 (as per DIN EN 13779)
• heat recovery no less than class H3 (as per DIN EN 13053)
The calculation and verification procedures needed for these requirements become more and more complex. The series of standards DIN V 18599 comprises 10 parts dealing with the calculation of the net, final and primary energy demands for heating, cooling, ventilation, domestic hot water and lighting in buildings.
TrueBlue was developed by robatherm as a sound planning tool allowing interdisciplinary and complete verification, in compliance with EnEV, DIN V 18599, EEWärmeG and VDI 2067, of the overall energy efficiency of air handling systems, including all life cycle costs (LCC).
TrueBlue thus enables you to objectively compare various makes, AHU concepts and components, taking into account ecological and economic aspects.
